Amarela Peqini, EMBA, is a dynamic leader with 20 years of experience in the financial sector. She began her career in the nonprofit sector in 2017 when she relocated to the United States from Albania and joined the InterCultural Advocacy Institute. She currently serves as the director of finance and operations at the Nonprofit Leadership Center where she oversees finance, financial strategy, and operations and innovation and helps nonprofits explore new funding opportunities to diversify revenue and develop greater financial capacity.

Before moving to the United States, Amarela worked for several European banking groups where she focused on portfolio management, financial analyses and led different business lines. Amarela completed her Executive Master’s in Business Administration in 2022 at the University of South Florida.
