Description

With change and uncertainty being an ever-growing part of nonprofit work, nonprofit professionals need resilience, creativity and collaboration like never before. The most impactful way nonprofit leaders can adapt to increasing change and respond with agility is to grow their own courage capacity and lead by example.

Join us for this interactive session that combines research from Dr. Brene Brown, Simon Sinek, Susan David and others to help you jump-start (or reignite!) your courageous leadership journey.

Guided by local connection expert Liz Wooten, you’ll explore how courage can show up in your mission, teams and life. You’ll learn the teachable skillsets of courage and how to cultivate self-compassion and practice ways to create more connection and empathy with your team. New to courage work? This workshop will provide tools and resources to get you — and those you supervise — started in the process of building courage while striving for excellence.

Who should attend?

Any nonprofit professional or board member who wants to build their courage capacity, lead their teams more effectively or show up more authentically in their work. Past Dare to Lead course participants are also welcome to attend, as new research will be shared.
